MelBIM – We are…<\/strong><\/p>\n MelBIM is a not for profit group based in Melbourne Australia that seeks to bring together the built environment community of Victoria, to share and exchange thoughts and knowledge relating to technology and innovation across the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Facilities Management industry, with a particular focus on BIM.<\/p>\n Every couple of months, MelBIM hosts a networking and presentation evening which is free to attend by means of the support of RMIT University and an event sponsor who provides drinks and food for registered attendees.<\/p>\n Attendees of these events are provided an opportunity to network and engage with other professionals from diverse backgrounds including Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Quantity Surveying, Software Development\/ Vendors, AEC Services, Product Sales \/ Retail, Education and Government.<\/p>\n I was invited to speak about \u201cProactive Model Management\u201d, presenting a short version of the Autodesk University presentation which Mehdi Blanchard and I presented earlier at the AU conference in Las Vegas.\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n
