Building Measures provide technical, economic and legal aspects that are highly complex. Within a very limited period of time, high volumes of capital are invested in compliance with the contracted services. Traditionally, the project management is one of many responsibilities that an architect has to take care of. Due to the increasing complexity of construction projects as well as the clear separation of construction-related services from the project management, investors and developers have started to use an independent institution of project management, which is an ideal addition or new business strategy that could be interesting for architects.
Project Management and Project Controlling are interacting functions that require extensive experience in architecture, civil engineering, business administration and law. Currently, there is not a single universally accepted performance and professional profile for project management in the construction industry.
Goal of the seminar is therefore to provide practical experience of duties and services that are related to project controlling. After the seminar, participants are in the position to carry out different duties of project management.
