The new Kaiserslautern Military Community Medical Center is going to replace the existing aging Landstuhl Regional Medical Center facility with a state of the art medical center based in a location better suited to receiving patients who arrive from the Flight Line at Ramstein Air Base after being transported directly from theaters of operations. The service included to analyse, review, assess and provide advice on the technical suitability of models and plans, the BIM execution plan and other supporting documents of the S2 (20%) design submittal being developed by a separately contracted consultant for the KMCMC. The purpose of the BIM execution plan is to provide information on the BIM Planning for the S2 phase of the project. It also serves as a guide to the USACE-EUD for the transition of the project from USACE-NAU management to that of the German Government.
